"Fish rain"? That's what the eastern Texas towns said after a rare weather phenomenon. According to an image shared on the Texarkana Facebook page, some residents saw small fish falling down on Dec. 29, 2021. Animal rain occurs when small animals are swept up in a waterspout or updraft and then fall back to the ground with the rain, according to National Geographic. Bats, fish, snakes, birds, frogs and jellyfish have all reportedly rained on the planet.
