NASA Ames Conference Center

Visitors should register to attend the event by emailing arcevents@mail.nasa.gov. When registering, please indicate the number of people attending.

The International Space Station is a blueprint for global cooperation and scientific advancements, a destination for growing a commercial marketplace in low-Earth orbit, and a test bed for demonstrating new technologies. The space station is the springboard to NASA's next great leap in exploration, including future missions to an asteroid and Mars.
Join NASA Ames to celebrate NASA’s space laboratory, the International Space Station on June 10, 2016, at the NASA Ames Conference Center (Building 3) from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. PDT.

The free public event will feature NASA’s traveling exhibit, the Destination Station trailer – a mobile, multi-media exhibit that immerses visitors in the story of NASA and the International Space Station. Destination Station features a touchable moon rock returned to Earth by the Apollo 17 mission in 1972. The trailer will be set up outside the NASA Ames Conference Center on Severyns Avenue.
The public event will also include presentations by astronaut Stephen Bowen and NASA Ames experts on the past, present and future of the station. Guests can visit exhibits about an extensive array of Ames projects that contribute to space station research and technology. Bowen will be available to sign free photographs.

Food and drink will be available for purchase at the Space Bar, also located in the NASA Ames Conference Center. NASA merchandise will be available for purchase at the Ames Exploration Center near the front gate.
Seating for the presentations in the NASA Ames Conference Center is limited to first 350 registrants. Availability to tour Destination Station is also limited.
